How can it be played with wine when wine can't give windows programs root access. Which gunz needs to open the mrs files and write in the logs...
Wine is only good for standalone programs that do not depend on other files.
Coming from experience in linux.

It works like a charm since I last checked, it should continue to work as long as v7 remains active. Obviously when a new version is released it won't. Enjoy it while you still can.
The alternative however, which has been suggested above is to use BootCamp to install Windows on your mac.
