Snipers are worthless now

Snipers are still quite capable of killing the enemy in 2-3 hits.
I can't imagine anyone complaining about them now used to be any good so:

someone with a sg or any other wep can easily close the distance on u and u think ur gonna be able to get 4 hits on a person using a sg b4 they kill u? only real use for snipers is in skillmap or infection with dmg3

Snipers have the highest penetration ratio in the game. Headshots do enough hp damage to where if you are not slash pbing with a sniper(meaning you are only a short distance away) and get 2 headshots you will kill the other person. Even if not headshots it would be about 3 shots again assuming you arent slash pbing with a sniper. Even then it would be 4 shots if slash pbing. You can still 1 shot with a headshot if you are far away, no other gun in the game can do that. Basically...shotguns will do better in close range while a sniper will do better mid to far range. This all assumes the player has good aim of course.
