Suggestion description:
Add 'gif mechanism' to the forum like imgur has, which shows the word gif on the top right and the gif itself wont start until at the center of the screen... would solve alot of lagging gif issues i have (and i assume others too) when viewing a highly gif-ed page in the gif pic thread

Tbh it's completely unnecessary since it will still load regardless of it not being shown,the computer will still ready the GIF and load it up unless it's linked.

Nope,

you're using a GIF right now as your signature... would we have to hoover over that for it in order to start?
I don't quite understand, the laptop I am using right now can't play any games. GunZ plays with 5-15 FPS
but I can still view any GIF without any issues.

as a matter of fact it doesnt, on pages full of gifs on the forum trying to view a single gif as they're all running together makes it take a good 5 seconds to start playing normally, and viewing posts on imgur where there are hundreds of gifs at once i find no issue at all to view them
